Don't Be a F^ckt*ard: Roadside

Updated: Apr 4, 2021

You know when it's a good time to leave your driver's side door open, while you check on something in or on your car? Not when you're pulled over on the shoulder of the road, with traffic going past you. Especially on two lane highways.

Do you want your car door ripped off? Are you trying to cause an accident? Do you want the cars driving by to get into head-on crashes, as they swerve into the other lane to avoid hitting your car door? Or to avoid hitting YOU?

Last time I checked, we aren't living in some post-apocalyptic hellscape, where the only traffic is you; where you can drive however you want, wherever you want. There are other drivers, other cars, on the road. You aren't alone.

It's kind of the same with walking alongside your vehicle. There is a reason why highway patrol cops come up to truckers from the passenger side, when pulling them over of freeways. When you can, go to the inside, with the vehicle between you and traffic.

There are some scary people behind the wheel. But, of course, since you left your car door open, odds are that you're one of them. As such, you probably don't consider the possibility of anyone else on the road being a factor.

If you want to get killed, fine. Suicide by other driver is a stupid way to go, but if that's what you want, whatever. I just don't want to be the one to hit you, it would be too much of a bother.

Consider your surroundings. Factor in safety.

Don't be a Fucktard.
