Do you know when it's a good time to bitch about the wealthy? To deride those with more monetary and physical goods than you? When they are using that affluence to exert influence your life. Directly.
Otherwise, leave them alone. If they're not bothering you by actually making your life a bother, then concentrate on yourself. You have better things to do than engage in lifestyle envy. Or, maybe you don't have anything better to do. But, you should.
Instead of wasting your time and energy on jealously of others, you'd be much better off spending that effort on bettering yourself. After all, your life is really the only one you can change, anyway.
And, if the very existence of the rich makes you upset - if the thought of rich snobs makes you have fits - than maybe you need to re-examine yourself and your priorities. Maybe you need to change your attitude. I mean, what impact does them having all that money have on your life? None, directly.
"They are hording it. Spread the wealth." You might say.
Really? Why? What have you done to earn it? What has anyone done to deserve any wealth? I'm serious, I don't know. And, neither does anyone who isn't the wealthy person, themselves. Maybe it's well-deserved. Maybe it's inheritance from someone who earned it years ago. Maybe it was just luck of birth, being born into a family of royalty-like status. Whatever the reason, bitching about other people's wealth won't make your life any better.
It's not the words you use, its the attitude behind them. And, if your feeling is that all wealthy people should either share with everyone - yourself included - or be jailed like the crooks they are, then your attitude toward having riches keeps them away.
None of this means that if you radically change your mind today, that tomorrow you'll be rolling in the dough. But, it will mean that you'll let others enjoy their lives and their wealth. All while you concentrate on your own self and your own life; the one place you actually have influence.
Don't be a miserable pauper. Or, do be, I don't care. Just stop your bitching about it where I can hear it.
