Don't Be a F^ckt*rd: Cell Phone Drivers

You know when it's a good time to check and interact with your cell phone? Not when you're behind the wheel of your god-damned car!

Seriously, leave your phone alone while driving. Put it in your pocket. Or stash it in the cup holder. Or, if you can't tear yourself away long enough to concentrate on driving, leave the fucking thing at home, altogether.

Driving isn't a sport; it's not some flippant activity. It's transportation from here to there, inside a conveyance that weighs more than one ton of steel and plastic and glass. It involves weather, and road conditions and traffic. Driving takes concentration and clear thinking.

Don't take a quick peak at your phone at red lights. I've missed my opportunity to get through a light because the jack-hole in front of me was busy eye-banging his phone and didn't pull through the light in time.

Don't sneak a quick look at your phone when actually moving down the road. I can't count the number of times I've passed someone I swear must have been drunk - with all the swerving they were doing - only to see that it was them looking at their phone that was causing the horrid driving.

I don't care if you put yourself in danger by distracting yourself with your phone. But, I don't want to hit you or be hit by you. Because I don't want the headache of dealing with an accident. I'd walk away. You wouldn't.

Leave the phone alone. Drive like you actually WANT to get to your destination.

Don't be a Fucktard.
