You know when it's a good time to talk religion?
During worship. Or, during religious text study group. Or, when in religions of the world class.
Literally any time other than when interacting with me. Or, the general population, as a whole. No one wants to hear about your religion. No one wants to put up with your fervor. No one wants to be guilted into going along with you to whatever worship you may attend.
There are hundreds of religions out there. Thousands of gods, and millions - dare I say billions - of interpretations of religious text. But, sure, your version is the only one that's correct. Right.
If someone is interested in what your spiritual path has to offer, they will ask. Or, they'll do research. But, you don't have to shove it in anyone's face. That's a surefire way to turn them off.
And don't tell me that your religion is holy. Or pure. Some of the worst atrocities in history have been perpetrated in the name of religion. From human sacrifice to holy wars to ethnic cleansing - not to mention the attitude and atmosphere of superiority from one group to another - there isn't one religion that is immune from a bad track record.
So, just don't. Don't try to convert. Don't try to start a religious conversation. Don't try to save me by getting me to join the flock. You know who lives in flocks? Sheep. And sheep don't think, they just follow.
Don't be a Fucktard.
